Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Engineer to oversee and implement safety protocols across our ongoing high-rise construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure all safety regulations and procedures are strictly adhered to and promote a strong safety culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement site-specific safety plans in alignment with statutory and organizational standards.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and audits across multiple project sites.
- Monitor compliance with OSH (Occupational Safety & Health) guidelines and local laws.
- Train workers and staff on safety best practices, emergency procedures, and PPE usage.
- Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses; recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure safety signage, barricading, and equipment are always in place and operational.
- Maintain documentation for safety inspections, toolbox talks, and incident reports.
- Liaise with project teams, contractors, and government officials on safety-related matters.
- Lead regular toolbox meetings and safety drills.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of BBS (Behaviour-Based Safety), scaffolding safety, and fall protection measures.Â
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Engineering with a specialization in Industrial Safety or relevant field.
- Certified Safety Officer / NEBOSH / IOSH certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-rise or large-scale construction projects.
