INWEC Presents Women’s Business Mela 2.0 – A Grand Celebration of Women Entrepreneurship
The Indian National Women Entrepreneurs Council (INWEC), under the aegis of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), is all set to unveil the second edition of its much-anticipated signature event—Women’s Business Mela 2.0, from 30th April to 4th May 2025, at the Exhibition Ground, Bhubaneswar. Following the resounding success of its inaugural mela in 2022, this year promises to be even bigger, bolder, and more impactful, with a national footprint and broader participation from women-led businesses across Odisha and India.
A Vision of Empowerment and Inclusivity –
INWEC, a proud initiative of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), was established in January 2020 to empower, educate, and elevate women entrepreneurs. It has built a vibrant ecosystem that actively contributes to India’s economic landscape.
With over 200+ active women members— ranging from industry leaders and corporate pioneers to SME owners and grassroots change makers— INWEC has played a pivotal role in promoting women-led enterprises through education, mentorship, access to funding, and networking.
INWEC has organized two landmark initiatives: India’s First Women’s Business Mela in May 2022 and the INWEC Fashion & Lifestyle Mela in January 2023. Both events were nationally supported by the ICC, MSME-DFO, and the Government of Odisha. These events saw 120+ women entrepreneurs showcasing their ventures across various sectors, including fashion, handlooms, food, lifestyle, and more.
